Beautiful seaside & mountain town located in Southeast Alaska seeks dynamic Independent Living Specialist with strong advocacy background to supervise the SAIL Sitka Program including independent living services, fundraising and development. This friendly, relatively accessible small town has a great community network, lots of outdoor opportunities and mild weather in comparison to the rest of Alaska. People with strong independent living backgrounds and experience working with and for people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Preference given to applicants who experience a disability.

SAIL Juneau Independent Living Specialist

Located in Alaska's Capital City, the SAIL Juneau office is seeking a full-time Independent Living Specialist to facilitate our low vision support group, youth initiatives, and coordinate our loan closet.

The position is somewhat flexible, as is SAIL itself, promoting teamwork, fun and discussion among staff. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for the Independent Living philosophy.
