Accountant

This position is responsible for providing financial services to include payroll, accounts receivable, billing, profit and loss statements, grant budgets and grant reports. Responsibilities & Duties: Daily accounting functions include:

• All aspects of the accounts payable cycle, including invoices & purchase orders, and checks for disbursement and maintaining vendor and related accounting files and records
• All aspects of the payroll cycle, including tracking and remittance of employee benefits, payroll tax reporting and compliance, and record keeping
• Recording revenues and preparing bank deposits
• Tracking and recording accounts receivable
• Tracking and recording grant revenues and expenditures, and assisting with or preparing federal and state grant reports
• Assisting with business functions for fundraising activities
• Record keeping for all accounting and grant functions of the organization
• Reconcile bank statements
• Assist with any and all agency fundraising activities

On-Site Interpreter

This position will provide sign language interpreting during business hours both in house and in the community. When not interpreting, this position provides logistical support for the Interpreter Referral Line, e.g. responds to requests for interpreters, interfaces with providers and interpreters, monitors off-hours pager; and provides necessary documentation. This position also logistics for arranging for interpreter assessments and training, and support of the general Independent Living Program.

Staff Interpreter/Deaf Services Assistant

The purpose of this position is to provide sign language interpreting during business hours both in-house and in the community.
